The Recordkeeping Institute is a not for profit company whose aim is to enhance the availability of a range of training and educational opportunities for recordkeeping professionals and to extend recordkeeping understandings to other information professions.

The Institute was formed in 2000 as a response to the obvious decline in University training available for recordkeeping. The Institute contracts in expertise for the development and delivery of courses that it runs as required.
