Frank
Upward is perhaps best known for his groundbreaking
development and articulation of the records continuum
model, which is now taught throughout the world and
has been the conceptual basis for many of the national
and international standards in recordkeeping, particularly
electronic recordkeeping. Much of his work is interdisciplinary,
drawing on relationships between sociology, information
management, information systems and management and,
of course, recordkeeping. As an academic at Monash University
for many years, Frank is an experienced and gifted teacher. |
