Records Continuum (1 Day)

The records continuum overturns the life cycle model. It describes the processes for managing records from the point of creation. It provides the conceptual basis for many of the national and international standards for recordkeeping.

This one day course uses a movie case study to introduce the theories that are informing our current practise and how understanding these theories can assist recordkeepers to be innovative implementers of new technology to achieve recordkeeping outcomes. It discusses the records continuum model and how to make use of this model as an aid to practise.
