Introduction to Recordkeeping Metadata (1 Day)

Metadata – the word sounds difficult, remote and worlds away from the everyday reality and working needs of the recordkeeping professional. Yet all of a sudden, we’re being swamped with material on metadata. What relevance does it have to the work of records managers? What do we need to know? What is coming down the line and how can we be prepared?

This one day course is geared to presenting recordkeepers with understandable and digestible information about recordkeeping metadata and implementation strategies at an introductory level. This seminar is the first step for records managers wanting to know what impact metadata will have on their current and future work.
