Exploring the Theory of Recordkeeping: Informing Practice (1 day)

This one day course uses a movie case study to introduce the theories that are informing our current practise and how understanding these theories can assist recordkeepers to be innovative implementers of new technology to achieve recordkeeping outcomes. It discusses the records continuum model and how to make use of this model as an aid to practise.

  • Locate their current practice in the records continuum model
  • Identify strategies and practical tools living in logical dimensions of the records continuum model
 
 
  Learner Profile
  This course is aimed at practicing records managers and archivists, both those with formal education and those with on the job experience. It is intended to provide a non-threatening and practical introduction to the records continuum theory.
