TRIM training for registration users (1 day)

An introductory course for new TRIM users to provide basic functions for a registration level user, i.e. staff with responsibility for adding new records to the database, managing users and locations, managing security settings.

The course is delivered with all participants receiving hands on training in TRIM using a demonstration database with thesaurus and disposal schedules, covering:

  • Security, logons and maintaining users
  • Locations
  • Record tracking and movement
  • Searching
  • Registration
  • Records relationships, navigation
  • Electronic document registration and attachments
  • Thesaurus amendment
  • Tailoring TRIM

Note that courses can be tailored to an agency’s environment demonstrating on the agency’s own dataset, on request.
